Islamic Economy Award 2017 deadline extended

The Islamic Economy Award is open for nominations for its fifth edition to identify the key stakeholders in the Islamic economy space for 2017. Due to extensive demand the deadline has been extended to September 14, 2017.

The award is held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. Since its launch in 2013, the award has received more than 1,100 applications globally and honoured over 35 industry leaders across the nine categories.

The integrity and credibility of the award will be adjudicated by a panel of judges based on a formal established criteria. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Dubai, UAE that will be attended by the most prominent industry stakeholders in the Islamic economy. Submissions can be made at
