The Ninth Foundation of the Islamic Finance Conference is to be held at Lancaster University Management School and is organised by the GOLCER research unit in collaboration with the organizers of the FIFC series: the Centre of Excellence in Islamic Studies of the University of Melbourne, Australia and the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance. The dates are September 25-26, 2017.
The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for a general exchange of views and to encourage new research/industry initiatives across the rapidly expanding global Islamic finance industry.
Eminent scholars and industry leaders are giving talks including the IDB laureate Professor Kabir Hassan and Datuk Professor Syed Othman Alhabshi, deputy president of INCEIF.
Selected papers with original contributions to the field will be considered for publication in the Thunderbird International Business Review and the Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance. Selected papers must make their journal submission by November 31, 2017.
